Kate graduated from Cambridge University in 2003 after which she moved north to enjoy two years of general practice in Aberdeen. Although she would rather be enjoying the North East coast with her dogs or climbing in the Cairngorms, she decided to return to the flats of Cambridge to start a three year residency in Neurology. Partly funded by the AMC and the RCVS trust she spent eighteen months under the supervision of Professor Nick Jeffery before moving to the AMC to complete her residency. She is happy to see both surgical and medical neurological cases and has a keen interest in polyneuropathies and syringomyelia in the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
