About AMCRS Yorkshire
AMCRS was initially established in Manchester in 1990 and the Yorkshire branch, at Thurnscoe opened in 2002 in a brand new, purpose designed building. In addition to the advantages of being able to plan the facilities (such as the operating theatres, one of which is illustrated immediately below) from scratch, the chosen site has plenty of parking space for staff and clients.

Staffing
AMCRS Thurnscoe is staffed by a team of veterinary nurses and a receptionist in addition to the veterinary surgeons who are bases there and who work on a visiting basis. Follow this link to find out more about nursing at AMCRS
Facilities
The reception and waiting area is spacious, with three large consulting rooms opening off it.

Behind the scenes are the imaging facilities including x-ray,

endoscopy and ultrasound scanning (which are illustrated to the left in the changing images), kennels,

operating theatres,

and procedure rooms.

In addition to the most up to date operating facilities, MRI scanning is also available on-site.
